	Baby Room

	The Baby Room follows the routine set by the parents / carers. There are some planned activities such as painting, sand play, all closely supervised by members of staff at all times.




	Toddler Room

	The Toddler Room follows a more structured routine, but the routine is only a guide as the nursery day can change so as to accommodate the needs of each child.




	Pre-School Room

	The Pre-School Room follows a daily routine. There are planned focused activities and plenty of outside play. All activities are recorded and the child's development needs are observed . Parents/ carers can access their own child's record folder.

08:00am - 09:00am	Nursery opens, children arrive, free play
09:00am - 09:30am	Story time/ circle time/ singing
09:30am - 10:00am	Snack time
10:00am - 10:15am	Nappy changing / toilet training
10:15am - 10:45am	Outside play
10:45am - 11:30am	Focus activity
11:30am - 11:45am	Tidy up
11:45am - 12:00pm	Books / stories / musical instruments
12:00pm - 12:45pm	Lunch time
12:45pm - 13:00pm	Nappy changing / toilet training
13:00pm - 14:00pm	Sleep time / quiet activity / circle time
14:00pm - 14:40pm	Focus activity
14:40pm - 15:00pm	Outside play
15:00pm - 15:45pm	Snack tea
15.45pm - 16:00pm	Nappy changing / toilet training
16:00pm - 17:00pm	Free play
17:00pm - 17:30pm	Quiet activities ( table top toys, jigsaws)
17:30pm - 18:00pm	Story time - Nursery closes

The daily routine is only a guide as the activities are child led.
