	Baby Room

	The Baby Room is a large, spacious and stimulating room. The staff are qualified and have experience in working with babies. The staff plan activities and follow The Early Years Foundation Stage.




	Toddler Room

	The Toddler Room is well equiped and has plenty of activities to keep the children entertained. The staff plan weekly activities and followThe Early Years Foundation Stage.




	Pre-School Room

	This room has a more structured day, with regular outside play and planned activities, in line with the Early Years curriculum.

The Wendy House Nursery is a forty- four place setting, catering for children aged three months to five years.All the nursery accommodation is on ground floor level and has three main sections:
Baby Room - 3 months to 15 months
Toddler Room - 15 months to 2 1/2 years
Pre-School Room - 2 1/2 years to 5 years

Each room has its own access to a large, safe, fully- enclosed garden.
There is a mixed age-range of staff who are all suitably qualified, or working towards a qualification. All staff are police-checked prior to employment. There are trained first-aiders in each room and we maintain high staffing ratios, in accordance with Ofsted regulations.

This nursery is a mother and daughter team. It was set up in September 2007. The two directors are Victoria Newman, who manages the day to day running of the nursery and Angela Newman who oversees the office/ administration side of the nursery. Victoria has many years experience of childcare and is fully qualified.
